What to do
Hiking
Cave Celestial is located at 1700 m above sea level, in the middle of UNESCO Biosphere Reserve, a 26,000 hectare natural park with hiking routes in all directions. Walk to Roque Nublo, La Culata or Cruz de Tejeda in approximately 1 hour.

Closest restaurant is a 20 minute walk away. Closed on Thursdays and Sundays.

Stargazing & Bird watching
Low luminance pollution & a rare opportunity to observe birds from above.

Celestial Cave is nestled in a secluded location, with no nearby neighbours or roads. Parking lot is about a 15 minute walk away, along gorgeous Camino Real. We recommend hiring a car, but it’s possible to arrive by bus from Faro de Maspalomas to Cruz de los llanos, or to Cruz de Tejeda or San Mateo and hike or organize a pick-up. Exact address will be provided after booking.

If the weather prediction turns bad, we offer the option to move your booked dates, free of charge. Up to 48h before check in.

Celestial Cave keeps cool both in summer and in winter, offering ideal sleep in total silence. The cave is equipped with a good double mattress and a duvet, an additional camping bed + sleeping bag for a 3rd person is available by request.
Temperatures in the mountains drop after sunset, warm clothes are recommended.
